Your body needs a variety of proteins, veggies, carbohydrates, and healthy fats. Eating protein helps build and maintain and build muscle tissue as well as helps recover damaged muscle tissue post-workout. It also helps fat loss – protein has a higher thermic effect than carbs/fats.

Frequent eating helps maintain muscle mass and metabolism. However, people are now following a lower-calorie diet and eat more frequently. This helps with less of a drop in metabolism and muscle mass, especially if they are consuming protein throughout the day.

Frequent eating helps prevent hunger. This is important because it is much harder to make smart choices at meals and snacks when you are famished. You simply feel more in control when you are not fighting off huge hunger pangs and is just a convenience having them ready made in your freezer.
